Join us every Thursday for a limited time on a culinary journey through Italy's twenty regions. We will feature a three-course menu sampling authentic cuisine from Italy’s countryside.  Our goal is to present the variety of ingredients, cuisine and culture

Welcome to Trentino di Alto Adige! This northern region neighbors Switzerland and Austria, and is laced with the peaks of the Alps and the Dolomites; These regions influence the cuisine from Trentino greatly, where homemade sauerkraut and often dishes such as goulash are served regularly for Sunday dinner. The culture is based on the lives of those that live in the shadow of the mountains with an emphasis on poultry, whole grains and traditional salt cured meats, making complete use of recipes and traditions that can be found nearby. So sit back, enjoy a glass of wine, our sampling of Trentian cuisine and the company of those around you. Mangia!

First Course

Salt cured beef ragout with cannellini beans, knudel dumplings, carrots

Smacafam con Mela e Finocchio
Baked sausage polenta with apple and fennel salad with roasted butternut sugo

Asparagi con le Uova
Speck and asparagus salad with fried egg, whole grain mustard vinaigrette

 

Entrée

Choice of:

Schlutzkrapfen con Pollo e Salvia
Spinach and walnut ravioli with oyster mushrooms, chicken involtini, and sage pesto

Polpettine di Fagiol
 Grilled trout with rosemary, lemon, bay leaf, and clove with cannellini bean dumpling

Rindsgoulash
Paprika dusted beef and potato passata stew over creamy polenta and wilted kale

 

Dolci

Apricot glazed yeast buns with stewed cranberry and sparkling wine sabayon

Apfelkuchen
Fall spiced apple tort with apple variations and caramel ricotta
